[Manjoume points the gun at the perimeter here as instructed, and once Bakugou gives the go ahead or decides to move out himself, Manjoume will make sure to immediately move and stay in the center as he fires at the targets that attempt to come down in response to their presence.]
[Bakugo wants to bring one of the pieces of shielding with him into the hallway, but that'd be breaking shit and he's not about to do that. So he keeps to the center and the moment the guns come down, starts firing.]
Take the top ones out and jump! [They got the jump on the guns of course, so if Manjoume takes out the tops, Bakugou can take out the sides, and the jump clears the ones shooting towards their shins and feet.]
[Honestly, thank goodness for all the training they've done for fighting against kaiju over this past year, because Manjoume actually does shoot the top guns and make the jump, instead of having an embarrassing trip and wipe-out in the attempt.
Once he lands, he quickly starts shooting those targets at their feet too before they can potentially try to fire again before turning his attention to Bakugou.
[Bakugou fully expects the duelist to make the jump on his own. Otherwise he would have heaved him up himself. Wasn't going to blast him into the air; that would've been cheating. Manjoume's training paid off well.
He's already taking aim and firing, snapping the two from the left and right in blinding succession. Manjoume takes on the lower ones while Bakugou shoots one final sneak at the top as the others on the bottom retract behind the tunnel surface.
With a last click and sparkle of lights, the course chimes a victory tune and a jet of misty spray celebrates their successful run. Without taking a single hit! Ha! Complete undisputed total victory!]
[At the realization that they did in fact succeed, Manjoume grins and throws a fist into the air to cheer.]
Hell yeah! That's what I'm talking about!!
[And then, he's latching onto Bakugou's arm in his excitement, shaking him a little in a rare bout of joy that he's managed to get out of Manjoume here.]
Of course we did it! I'm not satisfied with anything but a complete victory!
[Though seeing Manjoume so damn happy and excited right now, Bakugou forgives him for grabbing his arm and shaking him like a little kid. He's never seen the guy express such an emotion before; it's kind of shocking.
But that permission lasts only a few seconds and then he's stalking forward through the exit, working the velcro and buckles off to start taking the targeting clothes away.]
[To be fair, there is very little that has happened in Neo Tokyo that has gotten him excited about something, especially as of late. It's genuinely a shame that dueling isn't a widespread activity here, otherwise you'd definitely see this side more often.
Anyway, the moment passes quickly enough, as Manjoume starts peeling off his own velcro and belts of the laser tag equipment while they walk.]
I've been doing a lot of practice with my aim during training sessions in the simulation room.
[Most people aren't excited about getting kidnapped and forced to fight in a war against fucking monsters. You could bring them to an amusement park and it'd still be clouded by their circumstances. Well, most of the Outsiders. Some still find joy and excitement and happiness even here.
Unless some game company wants to pick Manjoume's brain, there's no recreating the Duel Monsters game here. Well, considering they can technically access their own worlds' "internets" through the ocular, Manjoume could try to partner with a game company to introduce Duel Monsters here? ... That's his project.]
Thanks. Your skills out there were really good too.
[Which, maybe that shouldn't come as a huge surprise, but Manjoume compliments Bakugou all the same: he was very impressed, and the other's skills made for good team work to net them a win without taking a single hit.]
[Ever the egotist. He finishes stripping the targets off his body and proudly sets them on the return table. Smug as fuck, Bakugo looks to the scoreboard and grins at the time and score. Third place. Granted, the top two spots have a time that could only be achieved through cheating, which he refuses to do, so third, in this rare case, is fine as fuck for him.]

Did they do it? Have they cleared the course?]

You're a better marksman than I thought.
